Daughter of the Jade Emperor and creator of human life on earth, the Goddess Nuwa is considered in traditional Chinese folklore to be one of the most powerful and benevolent gods in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The legend of Nuwa attributes her as being the goddess who made earth hospitable to life itself. Prior to Nuwa’s intervention, the sky did not completely cover the earth, making the world an imbalanced environment of constant floods and fires. Nuwa is credited for patching the skies with mystical five-colored stones that embodied the balanced five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
